February Photos, Pt. XVII: A Newborn Today

It's amazing the difference just a few days can make. Isla is less than 72 hours old, and her momma and daddy brought her home yesterday.

Och, isn't she perfection?

Her ankles still show creases from her hospital bracelets; her feet are still wrinkly.

She is like a perfect little doll.

(Remind Adam and Caitlin of this when they're up all hours of the night with their squalling little doll.)

This, too, shall pass, young parents.

Absorb every sleep-deprived moment.

oh. I was there and my eyes didn't see what your camera "sees".
She is a little dolly.
...but my heart hurts that my little Selah is one year old tomorrow.
Time to put a brick on her head as Signe Esther Edquist always threatened the same for me.
