Even though we have had bursts of sunshine in the past few weeks, the likes of which should preclude me from any kind of complaining, the bleakness of mid-February in Michigan hit me today like a cinderblock wall on all sides. I want to cover every window with paper and paint suns and puffy clouds in swaths of sky blue, Punky Brewster style.
I need a list of projects to keep me busy.
I need a new fresh niece or nephew to inspire my photography beyond shots of my kids watching PBS.
I need spring.
And spring will be here soon, soon.
Until then, the color will have to come from somewhere else.
