Every trick in the book

A hearty thank you to those who offered suggestions and well-wishes for an expedited labor. My next doctor's appointment is this Friday, and I have a gameplan in place for each day leading up to it, including, I believe, each of the ideas mentioned. Here's hopin'!

In the meantime, I've been a nesting maniac. I think there's possibly a term for the profound burst of energy one finds for mundane cleaning tasks at the end of pregnancy besides "nesting," but I can't for the life of me remember what it is. (If you know, please let me know; it's driving me batty.) Eden seems thrown off by my mad cleaning spells, asking "DOO-ing?" over and over, apparently unaccustomed to seeing such productivity from mama. Hopefully it's indicative of things to come in the next few days. Now for some pictures. :)

Yesterday I decided to be a fun mom and let Eden have a marshmallow chocolate bunny before breakfast, or even getting dressed. She was pretty okay with that:

I call this one "Three Globes."

And just for old times' sake, here's a picture of Derek with a 24-hour-old Eden, just over two years ago. Look how little that 9-pounder looks under daddy's big hand!

You probably hear this a ton, but I can't get over how ALL belly you are! You are so tiny and then you have the cutest belly ever sticking way out there! I bet from behind you don't even look pregnant.
