A Call to Action

I made it through Easter services! Yay! Now... let's get this show on the road. Please suggest any method you have used/ read about/ heard of in any capacity to get labor started. Any and all suggestions will be considered, except castor oil. I can't imagine that kind of desperation.

I have always heard that sex gets labor started. And no, Derek didn't pay me to say that. :-) Let me know if it works!!!!! :-)

You don't know me personally but I get a kick out of your blog and read occasionally. I have to comment because I remember the last days of both pregnancies well. They drag.
My tip for starting labor: letting go. I was overdue with my first and the minute the induction got scheduled I went into labor. With my second, I secretly didn't mind going until my due date and then I gave birth almost a week early.
I hope everthing is as wonderful and you get to meet your new baby soon!

Watch the episode of Friends where Rachel is desperate to be in labor.

Spicy food, walks, sex (yes, that's in there!). However, my mom went on walks every day for the five days my sister was overdue and nada. Good luck, dude. :)

I know people will have some opinions on this, but the afternoon before I went into labor with Ellis, I poured myself a big glass of pinot noir and sat in a hot bath with a Reader's Digest. 12 hours later, contractions. Coincidence? Perhaps. But a glass of wine and a tub? Sounds good, regardless!

if you tie a blue piece of yarn around your big toe and a attach to your ring finger allowing the string to slide over your tummy while bellowing "oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh" and then "ahhhhhhhhhhhhh" and drinking a glass of water upside down while hopping on one foot, baby pomp should have no fears entering this world...who am I kidding??. I have no earthly clue about God's timing and the whole birthing process. What I do know is that I am extremely excited for you to experience yet another miracle!

ps- I have friends that swear by the sex theory and also the spicy food thing but I personally think Megans idea is a very smart one.
