Eden had her seventh birthday on Friday. I admit that I felt some mama guilt over what I felt was lame planning on my part, although there were gifts and pink cake and dinner choice and video chat with Yaya and Boppa and the promise of Eden's very first slumber party outside of cousins. I needn't have worried; in her words, "This is the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!"

I get a dose of "where has the baby girl gone?" every Monday night as we share our alone time to and from BSF. These too will soon be fond memories, but until then....
