This is Julia Rose, not yet two weeks in the world.
What is traditionally Wedding Season for many of my fellow photographers has proven to be the Summer of Babies for me. Perhaps it's the phase of life I am in with my own family, but this is perfectly alright with me. I can not get ENOUGH of these squishy little bundles, and I love challenging myself to find the images that define those precious first few weeks in the life of a person, and of a new family.

I can't be there to document her wailing at three in the morning, nor can I capture the sleep-deprived haze her parents are living in, but I can record this. (This, and MORE, Kelly! Proofs will be up soon!)

Beautiful. Almost, ALMOST makes me wish I could have just one more... :)
So excited to see these up! I love them, and can't wait to see the rest. :) She is growing up so much already... I'm so glad that we'll have these to remember every little inch of her when she was so brand new.
