Nothing to do with work

Judah is walking? And using utensils?!

Judah Justin is 15 months old now, and as of Tuesday, he has decided that walking is the way to go. Well, I take that back. This one can crawl at quite a clip, and he knows this quadripedia can get him what he wants in a pinch. However, he is, in Eden's words, "pwetty pwoud of himself!"... and he hones his new big kid skill any opportunity he gets. Another big kid skill he's added to his arsenal (in spite of his mother's vigilance over keeping the dining room carpet non-crustified) is spoon-wielding. He inSISTS upon it, adamantly refusing yogurt, soup, applesauce, and any other spoonable food unless HE is holding the spoon. Surprisingly, he does pretty well! (Please, PLEASE click on the image to enlarge it. You won't be sorry.)

And yes, Edie Jo! Eden hasn't quite grown out of her disinterest in the camera, but when she IS cooperating, she feels the need to say "sandwiches" for some unknown reason, and it frankly doesn't make for the prettiest pictures. One of these days I'll catch her enjoying her new favorite pasttime, playing Thomas the Tank Engine games on the "peeyooter." (One more family member to drag away from the glowing rectangle... good thing I got my own!) I did manage to get a few pictures of little three year old Eden recently... this was how I found her during nap time one day. (Recognize the book, YaYa? :)

And a few others that are so striking to me because of the setting... not just prime Sandy Pines, but my daughter sitting in my canoe.

(Contrary to the look on her face here, she really did enjoy her time on the boat. Girlfriend even stood up a few times while her daddy instructed her in keeping herself centered. Thata girl. :)

Ahhh.... it feels good to be back.

The collage of Judah is amazing. The different looks on that boy's face within the few seconds between shots is remarkable!
