What the What?

Did you know that a UTI is not super common in a three-year old? My pediatrician wanted to rule out more complicated problems, so Eden was treated to her very first ultrasound last week, and came home with this picture of her kidney.

(Wait, WHAT did you think that was a picture of? Sheesh, what kind of crazy do you take me for? I can barely handle the two kids I've got. ;)

So anyhow, Eden was less interested in the image of her insides than she was with the hospital bracelet and the TWO stickers she scored from the ultrasound technician. And yes, Eden has perfectly healthy kidneys. Whew!

(I can't believe you thought that was a picture of a baby. It's so obviously a preschooler's kidney.)

THIS is a picture of a baby.

Estimated time of Pompette #3's arrival: February 22, 2010. :)

(Yes, we're crazy. And we can't wait. :)

I wish I could have read this post without already knowing you were pregnant. I would have driven over to your house and punched you in the arm.
