The snow
In addition to the opportunity this lake effect "event" afforded me in a twenty minute siesta from matronly micro-managing to shovel the driveway in peace and winter quiet, the snow today also made possible these moments:
Hey Yaya, can you wook up Pwaymobil Wolveween?
(Playmobil doesn't make a wolverine. Bummer.)
A fox. Teeth first.
Making "mittens" to stuff with animals as they listen to Jan Brett's winter story
After falling asleep on the way home from Yaya's. I'd be dozing of, too, if I were wrapped in multiple layers of fleece.
It's cold and wet and makes the roads treacherous, but the snow is infinitely easier on my psyche than the rainy gray we had to survive earlier this week. Thank you, Lord, for the surrounding white.
