Eucharisteo :: Day 15

The Dark

In the same way that I'm thankful for my laundry because of the living, breathing children the laundry's existence implies, I'm thankful for the dark because of the light it amplifies and causes me to search out. Indeed, one can not exist without the other.

But darkness itself has its own intrigue, its own mystery and affections. Negative space in a painting or photograph must have integrity in its borders to maintain the balance of the composition. I need these margins, too, and Christ shows us in the Bible that He valued this rest, as well. (If you're interested in this idea and have some time, you can listen to this!)

Hey thanks for the "this" I'll definitely listen to that. I'm already noticing gaps in my goals for 2013.
But then being on the website I thought "Ruth video!" Came up empty.
I'm bummed.

Hey, Cara! Thanks for commenting. I don't know if the Ruth promo is on the website, but I've seen it floating around facebook.
