Young initiative!
While she was at Friday School yesterday, I took the opportunity to go through Eden's room to clean, organize, and purge.
That sounds bad. Really, I had her permission, and we both knew it had to be done. Things had gotten a little out of hand in my little hoarder's cubbies. She was excited to see all the clean space she had when she got home after our Eagle Hunt! We talked about moving some things around furniture-wise once the basement project is finished, and she liked the idea of a reading nook in her room.
I was NOT prepared for what *I* found this morning when I returned home from my grocery trip. Eden had taken it upon herself to go through some of the spots I didn't get to yesterday, and was methodically and thoroughly categorizing, reorganizing, and pitching things she didn't need.

Did I mention I didn't put her up to this? Or offer any type of bribe or incentive? Or even casually mention it in conversation?
Way to go, kid! You're inspiring me to go through another junk drawer.
