Eucharisteo :: Day 23

I'm thankful for a kid who wakes up in the morning with a plan.

However, when the "plan" is to scout out a bald eagle and see its nest, it makes my job a little more challenging.

With the help of the internet and some very knowledgable, helpful friends, (thank you!) I came up with a list of a half dozen spots to visit in the swagger wagon after preschool pick-up.

(*Note... Eden and Judah:interested and engaged in Eagle Trek. Lydia: laid back and able to hang with the binky. Selah: MAD about being stuck in a five-point-harness and wants us all to know it.)

(Thankful for her spirit. Really, I can't blame her.)

Unfortunately, our search was unfruitful. We ended our search (today) at the State Park, where the c-c-c-c-cold wind allowed me only a few moments to snap these before hopping back in the whine-mobile.

The afternoon wasn't a total bust, though. One of the friends who gave us spotting leads had a special gift for our little ornithologist.

And get this. You can even see the tawons.

(Thanks again, Joel!)
