First Things First

So very much has filled up the time between the last time I posted and now, and the blog fodder and photos are piling up on me and causing me way more grief than a blog should. But before I can wax philosophical about the changes and transitions working their way through my home right now, I have someone I'd like to introduce.

This is Selah Joelle.

She was born Thursday evening, February 18, 2010, weighing 8 pounds 11 ounces, and was 22 inches long. (I'm considering posting a birth experience story but I might need a little coaxing.)

Eight days ago, we didn't know her name or even her gender, and somehow, somehow, she is here now, just where she was always meant to be.

Welcome to the spinning world, Selah Joelle. We couldn't love you more.

Becky,
She is absolutely beautiful, and what a beautiful family picture. I heard from your mama that she is just as sweet as she is beautiful : ) So happy for all of you!
Love,
Helen

Beautiful name and little newbie! You can re-read my birth story for some motivation! I know I wasn't the one going through it and enduring the post birth pains and weariness, but I'm glad I have it on record. :)

I was sort of hoping for a 21st birth date so Stella could have her first e friend. :)

She is gorgeous and I also would love to hear the birth story (or rather "read")!

Another plea for the birth story from a "constantly in a state of baby fever with zero prospects of having a child in the near future" mama!

Congratlations, Becky!!
