Subjects I would like to explore further if I could hold a thought in a bucket:

1. Registration for MeRa Koh Chicago workshop; unnatural excitement for November ensues.

2. Judah at 2 months: vaccines (fear, responsibility, controversy); stats (14 pounds 11 ounces... 97th percentile- Dutch-Swede behemoth); photos:

3. Eden driving me bonkers, the joys of early bedtime, and a list of things I love about her right now to keep things in perspective:
~The way she repeats after me when I coo "hi, blue eyes!" to Judah: "Huy, boo UYES!"

~Her requests for prayers (poh-ahs) and that when I ask what she's particularly thankful for that day, she invariably replies Ellis (DehDess.)
~The new obsession with poop. Hilarious. (Especially when Derek is in the bathroom and she gets a concerned look and asks me, "Daddy poop?" Probably, honey. Probably.)

4. Veggie Casserole

5. Sandy Pines: a reflection.

6. Ruthless simplifying, organic food, local-vores, deliberate lifestyles.

7. Bob Ross

8. Guilt for referencing my dear husband's bathroom habits. Look what a great daddy he is!

More to follow. Hopefully.

Nice post, great pics, and deep thoughts. And I'd like to point out to your readers that your sons weighs 5 oz. less at TWO MONTHS than Ellis (DehDess) weighed at SIX MONTHS. I swear, I'm not starving her. Homegirl is just petite.

Ummm 14 lbs. That boy can eat! I was impressed with my babe weighing in at 10 lbs 10.5 oz. And to think they are only 1 day apart... I second Megan and say I am certainly not withholding the goods... "homegirl is just petite"!
