No WAY do I have time to come up with a clever title.

As usual, I have a few time crumbs leftover from nursing, appointment scheduling, and busy tasks that I can not name but which fill my days. My mind is like seven (give or take) furry scurrying critters running in different directions. My job is to decide which poses the biggest threat if not captured, and catch it without letting the others get too far out of reach. Which is more important... nay, more PRESSING AT THIS SECOND: feeding the baby? Eating something with actual nutritional value so that I have quality food TO feed the baby? Changing the diaper(s)? Working on the "real job" I took to "ease" back into the freelance thing? Buying diapers/ coffee/ other absolute necessities? TAKING A SHOWER so that my husband doesn't walk in the door and worry that he accidentally entered a wildlife preserve? And, oh yeah, the doctor said to be sure I take it easy until I'm really healed. So yeah, that.

Mamas of multiple children, and especially mamas of *more* than the two that seem to be defeating me:

I SALUTE YOU.

This, of course, is not to say that my life is without immeasurable joy, and I have the pictures to prove it. Before I have to break this blogging session into yet another tiny increment, let me share the latest batch.

Judah experienced his first real bath this week with his healed belly button. We are SO glad for this, as he was a screaming mess when we did the sponge baths, and the boy was beginning to smell like a dairy farmer. Here's our beautiful boy, beginning to wake up to the world.

He's either super alert from the bath, or a bit taken-aback my his mother's resemblance to Robert Smith of The Cure.

And some Eden shots... kiddo is SO FUN these days! She seems interested in EVERYTHING, and is constantly coming up with games, songs, and new vocabulary words whose origins remain unknown. She is also *constantly* testing us (mama especially,) but this comes with the territory, and the fun times make it worth the tedium of repeating limits over and over and over and OVER...

These were taken on our way down to see the ducks (guck. sss.) and throw stones into the pond. Child could do this all the live-long day, and a wise chaperone for this activity has the exit strategy planned in advance.

"Hopping" on YaYa and Boppa's bed. Another favorite activity :)

And yes, another shot of those out-of-control curls. :) What a big kid!

Okay... I think I may *actually* have time and opportunity for a shower. Unless.... yep. That's Judah waking up... Sorry Derek.

(As a postscript to this entry... I began uploading photos for this post at 7:48 this morning, and have written in words, phrases, and sometimes even sentences for the past 6 hours. It is now 1:56pm, and I'm done. :)

I have to laugh at the posting because it is ALL so very true! I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this way......also Judah looks like he's going to have beautiful eyes like his sister.
