If Eden will sleep, I will blog...

I still can not believe that I was pregnant two weeks ago. The mystery of procreation baffles me on so many levels, and in often surprising ways, considering it happened IN MY BODY not 14 days ago. But I'm afraid I'm not at leisure to continue this discussion, as Eden may be rousing any moment, so I'll quick get some captions on these photos...

This visually sums up what my day looks like: Judah doing his thing, and Eden before me, needing something. But och, look at that face...

The boy

Eden loves her baby brother, but prefers sitting next to him to "holding" him on the couch. Some of her favorite phrases: "Der, der, baby JuJu..." and "Oh, baby... guggie?" ("Guggie" is Eden's word for pacifier. Don't ask me where she got it; we called it a binky until guggie entered the vernacular.)

Checking out Judah's guggie.

And this would be Edie Jo playing with dog food at my parents' house. A harmless, if wet and somewhat stinky activity, this occasion prompted me to put "beans and/or dried peas" on my grocery list to make a cheap little toy for my little scooper.

Awesome pictures, great update. I'm so glad that it takes much less time to get 'back to normal' after the 2nd, as opposed to the first. Thanks for bringing the kids over yesterday!

You do know that peas or beans will NOT be the same right? You will do your best to make a toy she will love and she will still prefer the dog food! (from experience)! Love all the pics, my fav is the first one, how could you not just want to scoop up that little girl and cuddle her???!!! :)

Love the yawn!!! And the little bundled up baby on the couch. Wow- one can tell Eden is FULL of personality from these pictures alone.

love the picture of Eden with Judah in the background, that face is too much. It seems like things are still going smoothly for you, which is great!
We'll be at the Pines, June 20/21. I'm so excited to try out this new water park and it looks likes there's so much other stuff to do there. Definitely let me know if you'll be around there, we could meet up.
