...so why not just get caught up on photos? I have managed to categorize by child, at least. The first couple have more than one. There are just kids everywhere.
Please notice: matching outfits that were not planned, but not avoided, either, as well as the polar bear and golden retriever Judah is clutching. These are near-constant companions. That kid will dig through a bin of trucks to get to a dog. (Plastic, of course.)

This is the first staged photo of all three of the kids, apart from the hospital pictures. Can you smell the Baby Magic?
This week in photos, all mixed up chronologically:Eden:
Being brave and checking out daVinci's horse at Frederik Meijer Gardens (Judah wouldn't go near it. Can't blame him; it's probably an inborn instinct to stay away from animals this large, real or fabricated.)

Anxious to begin an Easter egg hunt with her cousin

Examining the tree buds that have carpeted our driveway

Being cute

Dyeing Easter eggs with her brother on his birthday
(I was standing on the counter to get this shot, and when I hopped down, Judah looked over to his sister and,in hushed awe, said, "Whoa!")

Judah:
Directing Boppa (and note, again, that golden retriever...)

Trying his hardest to stay this side of the barrier at the butterfly exhibit

Cheez Its and new shoes and sunshine.

Being a Big Kid

The Birthday Big Wheel, whose pedals will sit in joyful anticipation of the day his boots reach them

Taking a break from building animal "homes" at his station at the kids' kitchen

Selah:
Hanging with Boppa on Easter

Practicing her smiles

This kid is getting chunky already! I could eat her.

Kindred Spirits: Harper and Selah

How Tummy Time ALWAYS ends. (Good for head shape, I suppose, but not so effective for strengthening neck muscles.)

I had my first official photo shoots this week after taking time off to have Selah-Belah and adjust to the needs of a family of five. It felt GREAT to be back behind the lens again for someone other than my (granted, adorable) kids, and I'm even more excited to get shooting with my new baby, whose hotness can be rivaled only by the Jeep she is consolation for. (Was that last sentence confusing? I have two new babies; only one is a Canon. Also, I am choosing to end a sentence with a preposition.) Selah seems to have caught the kids' cold, but so far, it hasn't been too severe, and, although there was technically a little snow today, spring is really here. We made it another year!

Love it all. Thanks for the new pics. Why is Selah HUGE?!?! Has it been that long since I held her?
Ahhhh...I needed that!
Thanks for the photos and the blog posting.
Isn't it strange that it is difficult to remember life without Selah? They are ALL so sweet.
Love Judah's new shoes, the Big Wheel pic, and Ellis' face as it looks like Eden is directing her in the Easter Egg Hunt Awaiting pic. (Eden never does that, right??) But the best part of this post? The title.
These pics are fantastic!! I'm always envious you can tell a story with accompanying beautiful shots.
