A good prognosis.
Eden spent the evening in the emergency room last night. A slip in the bathroom and a good conk on the head seemed painful, but when she came into our room five minutes later to tell us her head hurt and she couldn't remember why, we realized we were looking at something possibly much more serious.
24 hours later, all is back to normal, apart from a decent goose egg for Miss Eden. I'm thankful for her health, her intact skull, her return to herself. (And helpful kind nurses, and competent physicians, and medical care near our home, and Derek being off work and able to spend the evening in the ER, and caring friends to text me prayers as I paced around the house waiting for updates, and the opportunity to experience God's peace in the center of anxiety.)
But mostly her.

What the what!?! Poor sweet Eden! So, so glad she is okay. And we over here at the Alberda's are thankful for her too. :)
