This is my honey-baby.

Honey-baby is beginning to stretch up and out of her glorious infant pudge. In fact, at her one-year appointment, she was back ON the charts at the 97th percentile. We tend to have roly-poly babies; even "Snake Hips" Judah earned the nickname Judah Buddha as an infant. We've been waiting for Sweet Soft Baby Face to thin out, and her maniacal trouble-making over the last few weeks is paying off. Selah has been our easiest baby, laid back and mild-mannered. On the very cusp of walking, she seems to be turning a corner of sorts: Selah is happy almost exclusively when she is into something she shouldn't be. Stairs, trash, toilets, writing utensils, tippy chairs, and small bits of plastic the very shape and size of a wee windpipe attract her like no age-appropriate toy can. I'd never have pegged her as a trouble-maker, but I think this one is going to keep me on my toes.
It's nice when kids bust out of the little boxes I've inadvertently put them in.
Eden doesn't like to be dirty. She pushes up her sleeves, peels her socks off after any time in the sandbox because the sand between her toes "isn't very cozy at ALL," and asks mommy or daddy to kill spiders for her. So I was a little surprised when she turned over a rock in the yard and began marveling over this.
Keep exploring, girls.

Thanks, Mandy! I appreciate the kind words. I didn't go to IWU, but know many alumni from church.
Good thing she is cute because I think she is beginning to show an irresistable attraction to "twa-bah" now that she can move around on her own and get to it. Oh Oh Oh!
