Out Thyself

You have to assume that a person who posts on a public forum WANTS people to look at it, and you are right! If you are here, I want to know who you are. Do you know me? Where do you link from? Y' come here often? I've been delighted to meet a few strangers who were brave enough to admit that they visit my blog on occasion, and I love it! So here's the deal. Leave a comment telling me who you are and any other info you want, and if the number of comments comes close to the average number of visits (I have ways of knowing these things) I will do a giveaway. A photo mini-session? A fine art print? A bag of Red Vines? A mis-behaving toddler? It'll depend on the day, I guess. Mostly I'm just interested in reading through and seeing a bunch of names I never would have thought of.

Will you play?

Don't be bashful.

You, dear friend, are one of the best things that BSF has given me. I love having good, quality, (quirky, hilarious) Christian women in my life. I heart you and your blog!

I know you from our respective blogs. And now FB. And now if I was in your town I'd TOTALLY call you up and meet for coffee. :) The interweb is a beautiful thing. :)

I really hope I win the cranky toddler!! {fingers crossed}

I admit it - I lurp around looking at your beautiful photos! I love the way your writing reflects the color and energy in your photos - thoughtful, fun & glowing! Nate enjoys them too. :)

Here! [Raises hand.]

I have no idea when I originally started following your blog, but I do remember the first time I met you we were both wearing ugly green t-shirts and black pants. :)

HI! I'm here to see your amazing photography of your beautiful family, and because your writing makes me laugh. And I would love a photo session and red vines. You provide the photos and I'll provide the candy.

I probably just threw off your page views- shucks! I looked at this briefly earlier and had to rush off the computer- so I didn't have time to comment. So subtract one- :) Sarah

I always catch up with your blog eventually, but DON'T always leave a comment...kind of stealth-like. Sadly, it's the only way I get to keep up with my nieces' and nephew's new tricks :(

I think I probably throw off your numbers too b/c I check your blog several times everyday! It's a great break on dismal days at work & it always feels like I won a prize when I check it and you've added a new post with amazing pictures of my nieces and nephew!

I hop over from Jenny's blog. You probably didn't know I was a reader. :) Your oldest and youngest are each just a couple of months younger than my oldest and youngest. Wow...did you follow that?

Thanks for the smiles.

I have seen you at BSF several times, but I don't think we've ever spoken other than maybe a quick hello. Our kids were in the under 2's program this year together. I came across a link to your blog from another blog and have come to LOVE the pictures of your precious children and beautiful writing. Thank you!

I've been intrigued by your writings, photos and multiple creative gifts for ages. When my mom mentioned you had a blog, I tucked it away in my mind until we had high speed access. Wah-lah! A fan ever since. Love, love, love!sleamk2000

I've never met you, but my hubby Kyle, graduated with your hubby @ HHS. We live in Holland too and go to church with some of your in-laws at CMC. I linked up to you through someone else I read...I don't remember who...maybe Becca? Love reading your bits on raising a family and it is a bonus to see such great photos.

Hey friend! I'm not very computer savy so every once in awhile I snork through my old emails and find the one from your dad with your blog address. Won't have to do that anymore now that we're friends on FB and I can directly link from there. Love to "see" the things your mom tells me are happening in your family.

I'll out myself proudly (as one of the few males of the group). I've been here from the beginning, even back to your myspace "blogs", and I'll be here till the end. It's been a great ride thus far!

Can I trade red vines for Andes Mints if I win?

I don't even remember how I first found you on here... I believe someone I graduated high school with (West Ottawa Class of '99) had a blog and I linked over from there. It was some time ago now, but I still check in every once in a while because first, I happen to love photography myself and I so very much enjoy the moments that you capture in the lives of your kiddos - they are truly beautiful and absolutely priceless. Second, I am a Mommy to three little ones as well... they are 5, 3 1/2, and 7months - it's always nice to know there's someone out there just like me. Third, I absolutely love the way you write, the way that you capture an exact mood or moment with your words is wonderful and it often times sums up exactly how I feel in regards to my little ones. Really, keep it up - I love, love what you're doing!
