Thanks to Lynette's kindness in allowing me to borrow some INCREDIBLY inspiring and informational DVDs, I've been taking HUNDREDS of pictures lately. Daily. Of nothing extraordinary. Perhaps its the commonplace subject matter that has me considering how I select my subject and setting. The subject, especially during the day, is almost always Eden. But I am realizing how much I "clean up" the setting so that it not only looks better in the photo, but reflects better on me as a housekeeper. I don't know that this practice is inherently good or bad, but I consciously DIDN'T clean up these shots. I was making meatballs and Eden had just woken up from her nap. We had our first trip to the Aquatic Center that morning, so there were towels and crap all over the counter, in addition to junkmail, recycling to go out to the garage, random phone headsets, dishes in the sink, etc. etc. etc. The shots could be cleaner. I guess the difference is that, when I don't clean up the setting, the subject of the photo shifts from being exclusively Eden to the *moment* the shot was taken. So I don't know if they're framers, but at least an interesting photo exercise. Here are a few from that afternoon.
And since I'm on the subject of photos, I have to include these pics from Sunday afternoon when we met at my parents' for dinner. The light was incredible and I went bonkers.
This was Eden's facial response to "We only color on paper, sweetheart."
I especially had fun with Ellis...
Ellie El is one happy babe! Okay, enough pictures for the day. Derek has been so patient in waiting to get on the computer; I'll torture him no longer!

Those pics are fab! Love all the creative angles, I personally love the ones shot from the top looking down, kinda gives them a distorted look but it's so sweet! Still lol at you on the ground getting some of those shots! Glad you enjoyed the dvd's, I loved them too! :) I need to take E to the aqatic center soon, I know he would LOVE it and it would wear him right out!
