Getting my sea legs

Another day, another naptime. It seems I start each day with grand plans for the monumental tasks I will accomplish once the tot goes down for her two hours plus after lunch, but rare is the day I defeat even half of what I set out to. I can't decide whether I should make a more concerted effort to minimize distractions, or if it's more realistic to simply lower my expectations and make allowances for a little relaxation. Today I'm leaning toward the latter. The sun has been shining all morning, and that, in itself, is motivation enough to tackle a half dozen mini projects that have gone neglected far too long... kitty and toddler prints on the windows and sticky spots under the table magically appear when the sun comes out, and, thankfully, so does my motivation to do something about it. :)

I'm still figuring out the Blogger thing, and grappling with what exactly I aim to do with another blog. (I do, after all, still have a myspace page and a Xanga account... how will this be different? Why have it at all?) For now I'm okay with letting it be whatever it turns out to be. With that said, here are a few pictures I took of Eden today playing in her room.

Eden is obsessed with books as well as two specific hats from her dress up bin. This morning was apparently a good time to combine her interests. :)

Hope everyone is having a good day! Thanks for checking me out, and please let me know you were here!
