Nothing profound tonight, folks. Shameless family album stuff lest it get lost in the shuffle of weddings, senior sessions, and vacation prep. We took the kids to the John Ball Park Zoo this week, and it was even more fun than we were anticipating. The big kids adored the animals and had plenty of energy, and Selah graciously gave up her morning nap and didn't even start squawking about it until the end of lunch. Pictures!
Eden taking it all in

These are pretty blurry and grainy, but it was the one time Selah was out of the stroller. She found a buddy!
Eden and Judah loved the petting zoo, and Derek manned the camera while I ventured into the pen.
Oh, my brown-eyed beauty...
Judah and Daddy took a camel ride!

We took a little break for apple slices and graham crackers at some picnic tables overlooking the chimpanzee habitat, and Judah, as usual, had a story to tell.
Eden's story was a bit more subdued.
What a trooper. I think Selah was a little sleepy.
Waiting for the boys to return from their pit stop
Yep, Judah already has a sense of how silly it is for me to take a picture of him in front of the restroom. But come on! A week before, we were packing diapers for him. This is momentous stuff!
We finally headed home after a greasy lunch of Happy Meals and Cokes, and it wasn't until the ride home that the kids started to get on each others nerves again. I think this look of horror was ellicited by Eden's stirring rendition of Feliz Navidad.
It was a really good naptime.

a terrific "What I Did During My Summer Vacation" for Pomps and their Pompettes!
These shots are great! The one of you and Judah is an amazing picture of you, and Judah's reaction to Eden singing is clearly priceless.
SO fun! I love the composition of Eden with the chickens! What great memories.
What fun pictures! The last ones of Judah are hilarious!
Wonderful post Becky! I remember John Ball Park when I was little and growing up in Muskegon. I'm glad we get to see pics YOU too :)

Judah. Freaking hilarious.
I seriously laughed out loud.
You are a killer behind that lens, Bex.
