Family Pictures

Upset or hiding from the camera,

...at least they're somewhat representative of these autumn days.

These are the closest I could get to decent smiles. A few more tries before the Christmas card goes out...

It occurred to me while out in public with my children today (who were quite well-behaved, I'm pleased to report) that any number of Facebook "friends" may have a somewhat skewed perception of the daily goings-on at the casa del Pomp, based solely on the vented frustrations of a crazed work-at-home momma of little children. I was relieved to go back through old status updates to realize that no, I don't *think* I paint my little urchins to be little demons all the time, but I certainly don't have a proportionate number of joyful reports to balance the cochlear bleed-inducing trials that I have NO problem typing out and shooting into cyberspace. I'm going to work on that.

That, and encouraging Eden to smile in a fashion that is not reminiscent of a crazed vampire bat.

Wow, you got the word, "Vampire" in your posting! How very late October of you. Now that Judah says "YaYa" he can start working on "green weng boops".

Seeing these pictures was exactly what I needed after spending 5 days in another state. Can't wait to be home again.

Adorable! It's so easy to vent about the difficult, frustrating times w/o thinking about it, I'm sure people think I'm always frustrated with my dear children... which is not completely true!
