Next I'm making a little doll... this is fun!
Eden and her buddy Landon are 5 months apart. Their mommas have been friends for the last 20 years, so they're pretty much stuck with each other when the mommies need their mommy coffee. Thankfully, the kids love each other, and I can't wait to add more photos like this to the collection over the years.
Taken a year ago, before either one had any siblings

Last week: secrets
One more written snapshot of life these days, purely self-indulgent and sentimental. Judah's giggle sounds like a cooing little owl. I want to never lose the sound of it. One of his favorite games now that he can crawl is a variation on the classic momma-babe chase game, often creatively referred to as "I'm Gonna Gitchu!" I pound my palms dramatically on the carpet behind him as I repeat the title phrase, and he giggles his owlet giggle as I attack his fat little thighs, and then- and this is my favorite part- then he drops onto his tummy and swivels toward me, crawling with gusto into momma space and pushing his forehead against mine. I have this game in a tiny velvet-lined box: a picture of God's greatest gift.

Two posts in one day? Impressive. It must be the invigoration of the fact that it's MARCH. Nevermind that it was below zero with windchill today, no, nevermind that. IT'S MARCH. Nice pictures, great words.
Great dress- another one of your many talents I didn't know about. You creative, talented people make me feel inadequate! ;-) I think we might have the same carpet- looks that way in your pictures. Lisa's oldest girl and my oldest son have that same relationship as Eden and Landon- it is fun to watch it grow and flourish over the years. She is the only girl who is accepted at our house as one of the guys! (I'm sure she loves that! ha!)
Love the dress! I just bought a sewing machine and am excited to start some projects. I might have to copy Eden's dress to make one for Sadie. It's adorable!
Beckie- I love, love, love catching up with you and your cute family through all of these means of technology!! Yay.
And seriously...Landon, looks like a mini-Shaun! They're so cute together!!
