1) Along with the normal height/ weight/ head circumference/ stat check, Judah also had a toe prick for hemoglobin testing, his waxy ears cleaned so they could be properly checked, and received FOUR shots. Poor little buddy... he's a little warm today, and his chunky thighs seem a bit tender. Throw in the suspicion of a new tooth... and I'm looking for sweet images of my baby and a reminder that there's a reason for it. And,
2) I have been pretty impressed with my free image editing software. I am excited that my copy of LightRoom is coming soon, but I have to give credit to Picasa; it has served me well.
I miss these little shoulders
Waiting for the doctor
Investigating the toe band-aid
The sun came out! Even Michigan babies know to soak it up!
Sitting still for the medical student's exam
The stats, for those interested and for personal record more accessible than a paper in a sea of papers on my kitchen counter: Judah is 30.25 inches tall and weighs 21 pounds 11 ounces. His weight is actually DOWN from the last time he was in by 6 ounces, which I'm chalking up to a week of sickness that he spent nursing only, and the fact that he is now a CRAWLER and is burning all his calories seeking out trouble.
As an aside, I do see a pattern in the last few posts, and I promise I am not neglecting my dear Eden. To make it up to her, I will leave you with a dialogue she and I shared a few days ago, as we were walking downstairs after another potty trip.
Eden: Mommy, you not wipe me wavy good." (See this post for translation)
Me: No? I'm sorry, honey.
Eden: Me sorry too.

And that dialogue is evidence that you are not neglecting your daughter? ;)
Sam is a stethascope swatter.
Loving the posts.
Your comment about northeners tired of living room shooting resonated... I hauled my big ol camera to the Pediatrition's office last week with my daughter! ;) Great minds.
BTW, I have Lightroom and LOVE it! :)
Great pictures of "Little Enok". He truly is the (not so) little Viking.
I can't wait to see photos taken with your new lens :)
LOVE the pic of him soaking up the sun....those exam rooms are GREAT on sunny mornings!
Adorable pictures- I love the soaking up the sun one and the toe bandaid one!
Gosh, I'm looking forward to summer at the Pines...and getting to see you & the kiddos more often! I am glad to have your postings here to keep me up on their progress during this endless, gray winter!
that conversation is so funny and so exactly how they talk. wonderfully sweet pictures!
I thought no doctor's visits were complete without a few kicks to the nurse, the holding down of flailing arms and an exorcist head to check ears...and the exam rooms are more like The Shining hotel....what have I been missing out on??!
